If you wish to play for us this summer you must fill out one of the attached forms on the left, depending on whether they have a J1 visa or not.
As well as this, you also need to obtain insurance cover. This insurance can be obtained at http://www.gaa.ie/sanctioninsurance where the 40 euro fee can be paid by Laser, Visa or Mastercard.
After completion the player will receive a receipt by email. This receipt must be attached to the sanction form, whether it's submitted by fax or email.
Both sanction and insurance receipt must go through the following steps:
- Signed by your club secretary and sent to your county secretary
- Signed by your county secretary and sent on to Croke Park
- Signed by Croke Park and submitted to the North American County Board secretary
- Sent to the Boston Secretary
Until your name gets on the appropriate processed list on the left you will not be allowed to play here
One thing to note is that all of this can now be done electronically from official club and county email addresses, nothing needs to be printed and signed, an email from an official address counts as a signature.
Lastly, as this is the first year that insurance is required, it may be a good idea to send the insurance receipt to Croke Park directly as well.
Send your name, club and county with the receipt to firstname.lastname@example.org
